Local attractions
Wrocław is a city in western Poland, the historical capital of Silesia and Lower Silesia. It is the 4th largest city in Poland, with almost 700 000 inhabitans (and over 100 000 students). Most of the attractions are within a walking distance from the venue.
Ostrów Tumski - the oldest part of Wrocław, with the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist. At twilight one can spot a lamplighter turning on the gas lamps there.
Rynek (Market Square) - always-living heart of the city surrounded by picturesque buildings.
